Troxell Announces Mayoral Bid to Fort Collins City Council. Current City Council member and lifetime Fort Collins resident, Wade Troxell, announced that he is running for Mayor of Fort Collins. Troxell has provided a balanced perspective to the City Council since he was elected in April, 2007. He has brought a practical, common sense voice to issues that impact individuals, families, neighborhoods and business owners who live and work in Fort Collins and care about its future. Troxell wants to build upon.
